Jeepnee used Nimbb for job interview.
Jeepnee is a company that provides recruiting and staffing to firms, businesses, and non-profits and give access to a global workforce of qualified candidates. Jeepnee implemented the Nimbb API in order to gather videos of candidates for job interview.
The technical requirement for this project was that having chosen Grails as the rapid application development platform, they needed to find a compatible video recording and playback service that would record videos and store them on the Amazon cloud. Nimbb is the only API that provides full-service as a platform of webcam video recording technology. According to Usha Kizhakekara, CTO of Jeepnee: "Nimbb turned out to be an excellent video recording service with a great capability of storing videos on the cloud. Since our servers reside on Amazon, having the option of storing videos in Amazon's Elastic cloud storage turned out to be the clincher for Nimbb."
There have been several advantages of using the Nimbb API for job interview. Nimbb allows users to record videos using their built-in cameras or webcams, play the recorded videos in a Flash player, easily integrate the Nimbb Player into the website and program it. "The Web Service allowed us to move videos to the cloud and optionally store videos on the Nimbb network." Mrs. Kizhakekara also stated that the overall ease of integrating Nimbb into the application and above all the outstanding customer service turned out to be invaluable for Jeepnee.
