Play videos on Android

The Flash Player plug-in for mobile browsers on Android is not support on new devices (Android 4.1+). However, it is still possible to install Flash on an Android device by following the instructions Manually installing Flash Player on Android devices.

If your users are unable to run Flash Player on their Android mobile devices, the solution is to do a video playback using the built-in Android player. In the example below, we display a thumbnail of the video and when you click on it from an Android device, the video will open for playback.

This example requires you to specify your developer key.
A Silver or higher subscription is required.

In the code, simply replace XXXXXXXXXX by the GUID of the video and YYYYYYYYYY by your public developer key.
