Problem displaying multiple Flash applications in Google Chrome

2013-06-03

There is an issue with the latest version of Google Chrome (27.0.1453.94) that does not load multiple Flash applications in one HTML page. If there are multiple Nimbb Player on the page, only one is correctly displayed in Chrome. This was causing issue for our users to manage their videos from our site. We solve the issue by using some JavaScript code. If you are having the same problem on your site, make sure to look at the Known issues to learn more.

For information, here is the code you need to add to your page for quick fix until Google solves the issue in their browser.

<script type="text/javascript">
if (window.navigator.appVersion.match(/Chrome/)) {
function chrome_flash_redraw() {
var objects = document.getElementsByTagName('object');

for (var i = 0, j = objects.length; i < j; i++) {
objects[i].style.display = 'block';
}
}

if (window.addEventListener) {
window.addEventListener('load', chrome_flash_redraw, false);
} else if (window.attachEvent) {
window.attachEvent('onload', chrome_flash_redraw);
}
}
</script>
